HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - Holland Public Safety officials held an open house at the Kollen Park Fire station yesterday in honor of Fire Marshal Mike Larsen’s last day on the job. He is resigning to supervise the emergency response team at the Amway headquarters complex in Ada. The position will not be filled, leading to some fears of firefighter layoffs and staffing reductions, but City Manager Ryan Cotton says that there are no such plans at this time.
