DORR, MI (WHTC) - There’s another twist in the story of two escaped cons from Allegan County and their girlfriends who are in a multi-state flight from justice.
The mother of one of the girlfriends, 17-year-old Brittany Rector, says that a woman whose voice she couldn’t recognize called her, saying that the girl was OK, she loves her, and that they are afraid of dying in a hail of gunfire. There was crying heard in the background. No location was mentioned during the call, and authorities believe that the four – Gregory Bradshaw, Kenneth Grauman, Laura Grauman and Rector – may be headed to Oklahoma or Tennessee, where Grauman has friends and relatives.
Bradshaw and Kenneth Grauman escaped from a state correctional program in Baldwin 11 days ago, and after eluding capture during their flight several times in Allegan County, where they were joined by their girlfriends, the four were last seen in surveillance video at a grocery store in Kokomo, Indiana last week. A federal reward of 15 hundred dollars has been posted for information leading to their arrest and conviction.
