HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - In an effort to meet a state-mandated 10 percent of its energy portfolio coming from renewable sources by 2015, the board of the Holland BPW yesterday endorsed a contract with a wind farm north of Indianapolis, along with approving a memorandum of understanding with a similar operation south of Alma. These deals would bring a total of around 32 megawatts of power. City Council must still approve both agreements.
