HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - The board of the Holland Board of Public Works today goes over two separate proposals that would provide a total of nearly 32 megawatts of renewable energy. They involve wind farms between Indianapolis and Kokomo, Indiana, and south of Alma, Michigan. This is part of having the municipal utility meet the state mandate of having at least 10 percent of its retail energy supply come from renewable sources by 2015.
