DETROIT (WKZO) -- General Motors says sales were up 1.5-percent last month, making it the best September for the automaker since 2008.
GM says passenger car sales helped boost the numbers. They were up 29-percent from a year ago. Truck sales did fall by 20-percent, which GM blames on the reduction in fleet sales during the month.
Of all GM brands, Cadillac was the only one that saw numbers down last month as their sales fell by 1.3-percent.
