PLAINWELL, MI (WHTC) - An investigation into a fatal crash on US-131 south of Plainwell continues. Authorities say that 68-year-old Sandra Norland died in the Monday afternoon accident when the Smart car that she was a passenger in was rearended by a van, as traffic was at a virtual standstill due to construction surrounding the M-89 junction. The two drivers involved, along with a passenger in the van, were injured and hospitalized.
