LAWTON, MI (WHTC) - A 42-year-old Plainwell woman may be involved in a pot growing operation that was busted by Van Buren County Sheriff’s Deputies and Lawton Police Officers yesterday afternoon. The search for a 40-year-old man on a parole violation led authorities to his residence on North Main Street in Lawton, where he was arrested. The unnamed woman was found hiding in the attic among 30 marijuana plants and equipment.
