LANSING, MI (WHTC) - Dennis Nickels of Grand Haven was among three new appointees to the Michigan Waterways Commission by Governor Snyder. He will serve for the next three years on the seven-member panel that oversees the acquisition, construction and maintenance of recreational harbors, channels, docking and launching facilities in the state. Saugatuck’s RJ Peterson was also named as a special consultant to the MWC to serve at the pleasure of the Governor.
