ALLENDALE, MI (WHTC) - Grand Valley State University officials say that there was a six percent increase in giving for the United Way as they announced results of their 2012 campaign. More than 172 thousand dollars was raised by the Lakers in their Allendale, Grand Rapids and Muskegon campuses, with over 13 hundred staffers contributing, a 76 percent response rate. The Ottawa County United Way’s annual campaign goal is 2.3 million dollars.
