ALLEGAN, MI (WHTC) - An attorney from Wayland, along with two women from Otsego, was arraigned yesterday on charges stemming from two separate meth busts in June. Patrick Burson, Polly Gates and Sherry Cunningham went before a judge shortly after turning themselves in. Burson and Gates could each get 20 years for operating meth labs at his office and her home, while Cunningham faces a couple of years for possession. The Barry County Prosecutor's Office is handling the case due to Burson's past legal dealings with the Allegan County judicial system. All three are expected back in court on December 6th.
