GRAND RAPIDS, MI (WHTC) - David VanDyke of Coopersville was given the Volunteer of the Year award by the Michigan Farm Bureau yesterday during its 93rd annual meeting in Grand Rapids. He was honored for mediating a settlement between various interests that resolved a dispute in Wright Township involving the placement of a bike path connecting the Musketawa and White Pine trails. The dairy farmer won a prize package as part of this award.
