GENEVA TWP., MI (WHTC) - An accident east of South Haven on Saturday afternoon hospitalized two Pullman children. Authorities say that alcohol was a factor in the crash on County Road 388 at 67th Street as a SUV rear-ended a minivan that had pulled over to allow the tailgating and weaving vehicle to pass it. An 11-year-old girl and a 14-year-old boy in the minivan were treated and released from a South Haven hospital; the driver, an adult and two other siblings were not hurt. A 58-year-old Grand Junction woman driving the SUV was jailed pending arraignment.
