JAMESTOWN, MI (WHTC) - It was not immediately known if criminal charges will be filed against an unnamed 14-year-old boy who allegedly shot his BB gun at a stopped school bus near Jamestown yesterday afternoon. The vehicle was apparently between stops on 24th Avenue near Greenly Street, bringing Beaverdam Christian School students to their homes, when a BB pellet struck one of the windows. The glass did not fall, and no student was seated near that window at the time, with none of the 11 students and a driver aboard the bus hurt as a result. An investigation caused a 30-minute delay. The youth was released to the custody of his parents, and the case will be reviewed by the Ottawa County Prosecutor's Office for possible criminal charges.
