HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - Your opinion counts!
That slogan is plastered on various websites, seeking participants in surveys that invariably lead to increased spam in email boxes. However, a poll that begins today by researchers from Hope College’s Frost Center to find out about Holland’s municipal services and the Tulip City’s biggest needs has no such strings attached. For one thing, it is only being done among city residents; it’s being done by phone and not online; the participants won’t be put into any mailing list for marketing purposes; and the results are going to be used by Holland City Council members for determining priorities in formulating a budget for fiscal 2014. Pollsters hope to wrap up their work in three to four weeks, depending on responses. Council last week approved allocating over 18 grand to retain the Frost Center’s services for this poll.
