LANSING (WKZO) -- Another Michigan resident has died after receiving a tainted steroid.
According to officials, an 88-year-old Ingham County woman is the eighth person to die in the state following a nationwide meningitis outbreak. So far there have been 124 cases of fungal meningitis reported in the state.
The outbreak has been linked to contaminated steroid shots made at a compounding center in Massachusetts.
