KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- Will it be busy at the polls tomorrow?

Kalamazoo County Clerk Tim Snow says statewide they are predicting about 60 to 65% of all eligible voters will take the time to vote tomorrow, which would be down from the last presidential election, and about the same as the one before that.

He bases his local prediction on the number of new registrations and the requests for Absentee ballots, and agrees with the state estimate.

Because they have gone to paper ballots and electronic readers, you don’t need a punchcard device or a big green voting machine to vote, just a pen. That should speed up the process.

Polls open at 7AM and will close at 8PM as long as no one is waiting in line.
