LUDINGTON, MI (WHTC) - Charges were filed against a 41-year-old Ludington man in the deaths of a couple from Conklin who were killed when their motorcycle was struck by a minivan this past May. Matthew Millspaugh could get a year in jail if convicted of a misdemeanor count of a moving violation causing death. Gary and Carol Berenbrock died after Millspaugh’s vehicle went across the center line on US-31 between Ludington and Manistee. Millspaugh is free on a 35 hundred-dollar personal recognizance bond pending a November 26 hearing.
