ATLANTA (WKZO) -- The nation's West Nile virus outbreak continues to grow, but the pace is slowing, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports.
The CDC says 4,891 people across the U.S. have contracted the mosquito-borne disease. That's up from 4,725 cases a week ago.
Four more people died from West Nile in the past week, bringing the total for the year to 223.
