DEARBORN (WKZO) -- Alan Mulally will stay on as Ford president and CEO at least through 2014.

Ford Executive Chairman Bill Ford says that additionally, Mark Fields is named the automaker's new chief operating officer effective December 1st.  Other leadership moves include Joe Hinrichs named executive vice president and president of the Americas, Stephen Odell is the new executive vice president and president of Europe, Middle East and Africa and Jim Farley is named executive vice president of Global Marketing, Sales and Service and Lincoln.

Other announcements have David Schoch named as group vice president and president of Asia Pacific while John Lawler is elected a Ford Motor Company vice president and named chairman and CEO of Ford Motor China.
