PLAINWELL, MI (WHTC) - Graduation ceremonies will go on as scheduled at Plainwell High School tonight, although a pall was cast over that southeast Allegan County community on Tuesday when word that 17-year-old senior Patrick McCormick had died in a motorcycle accident. He was motoring on Norris Road in Barry County's Orangeville Township when he apparently lost control of his machine on a winding stretch of road and crashed. Results from an autopsy to determine a cause of death are pending. Counselors have been available for students since the incident.
