LANSING (WKZO) -- The Michigan Court of Appeals may decide if the proposal to repeal the state's emergency manager law is valid.
The group Stand Up for Democracy is challenging the law known as Public Act 4. They collected more than enough signatures to place the issue before voters in November. However, a group opposed to the repeal said the petitions were invalid because the size of the print on the document was too small.
The State Board of Canvassers deadlocked on the vote to approve the petition making way for issue to be decided by the Court of Appeals.
