HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - The bottom has apparently fallen out of gas prices along the Lakeshore, as this morning’s survey of Holland area stations showed a per-gallon average of $3.72. This is 26 cents below last Friday’s mark, and 44 cents less than what motorists were paying at this time a year ago. Rates ranged from $3.68 to $3.79. Despite higher consumer demand due to the influx of visitors to the Tulip City for the festival this week, fuel costs locally are keeping in line with daily polling levels from Triple A of $3.73 nationally and $3.72 statewide.
