HOLLAND (WHTC) - An Ottawa County judge has rejected a request to lower the bond on one of two accused of an armed robbery on the city’s east side in late March. Circuit Judge Jon Hulsing Monday refused to lower the bond on 19-year-old Deonte Berry, who is charged with armed robbery, felony firearms and a drug-possession offense in connecting with the  March 27 holdup in the 400 block of Stratford Way. Police say Berry and 20-year-old Demarcus Dunbar held up the home, taking an X-box video game system and cash. Berry remains held in the Ottawa County Jail on $500,000 bond. His trial has been scheduled for August 14.
