HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - Gas prices are up nine cents per gallon on average along the Lakeshore from last week, and a quarter more than Wednesday morning when the latest fuel spike occurred, but the $3.98 mean from this morning’s survey of Holland area stations is 23 cents less than a year ago, when the $4.21 level was the highest ever recorded in the 10-year history of this poll.
Triple A’s daily canvassing had a national mark of $3.80, down a couple of pennies since last Friday, while the statewide average stood at $3.91, seven cents more over a seven-day span.
