DETROIT (WKZO) -- Western Michigan (19-13-6) plays Miami of Ohio (23-13-2) in the first semifinal Friday at Joe Louis Arena.The Broncos are fresh off their elimination of Lake Superior State in the quarterfinals looking to take on the RedHawks with a puck drop time of 4:30.

Miami of Ohio has proven to be a tough team to beat this year, outscoring the Broncos twice in the regular season and recently defeating the MSU Spartans 10-1.
