GRAND RAPIDS (WHTC) - A red flag warning is in effect for Ottawa and Allegan counties until 10 o’clock Wednesday evening. The National Weather Service office in Grand Rapids issued the advisory because of hot temperatures, strong winds and low humidity, which could create a recipe for fire. Officials say be careful with activities that could lead to a wildfire, such as camping, outdoor cookouts, or using an ATV. For more info on burn restrictions, visit the state DNR Website or call 866-922-2876.
