The Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines star first disappeared for more than a week last month (May12) but he re-emerged and was admitted to a rehabilitation clinic.

Stahl, who has battled ongoing drug issues, walked out of the California treatment centre earlier this month (Jun12) and went to stay at a friend's house, but he has since vanished again. He was last spotted on 14 June (12).

But his his estranged wife Rose - the mother of Stahl's young daughter Marlo - has opted to end her quest to track the fallen star down, telling TMZ.com, ""I'm backing off. He knows exactly where home is. It's the loving thing to do for him, myself and our daughter.""

The couple, which wed three years ago this month (Jun09), separated in January (12).

Rose has previously demanded Stahl agree to random drug tests before he can spend time with their daughter.
