DETROIT (WKZO) -- The base price of the 2013 Chevrolet Malibu will be higher than the 2012 version.
General Motors is raising the price by 280-dollars but the price for the LTZ model will be slightly lower. The Malibu is completely redesigned for 2013 and will compete with the Ford Fusion, Toyota Camry, Honda Accord and others in the very competitive mid-size sedan class.
The sticker price for the base model is 23,150-dollars which includes the destination. The Malibu is being built at GM's Hamtramck plant and in Fairfax, Kansas.
