HUDSONVILLE, MI (WHTC) - A “celebration of life” is this morning at 11 AM for Bill Van Regenmorter, the long-time Lakeshore state lawmaker who finally lost a nine-year battle with Parkinson’s disease on Monday at the age of 73. A number of political and civic leaders paid their respects to the Hudsonville Republican yesterday, as Van Regenmorter was known for his advocacy of crime victim’s rights during a 24-year legislative career that ended in 2006. The funeral service will be at the Baldwin Street Christian Reformed Church, where he was a charter member.
