FENNVILLE, MI (WHTC) - Units from six Allegan County fire departments were called to the scene of a fire in downtown Fennville on Tuesday afternoon. The fire was reported shortly after 2 o’clock in an abandoned industrial fire at 205 Second Street. Firefighters from Fennville, Hamilton, Saugatuck, Graafschap, Ganges and Lee helped bring the flames under control without injury. Some residents of a nearby mobile home park were briefly evacuated as a precaution, but their units sustained no damage. No damage estimate for the building, or a cause of the blaze, was immediately determined.
