PAW PAW, MI (WHTC) - A 29-year-old Kalamazoo man is spending Father's Day in the Van Buren County Jail following a Friday night arrest for allegedly piloting a boat under the influence in South Haven. The unnamed man was with five people as he was docking his vessel on the Black River when a sheriff's patrol boat arrived at the scene. Deputies claim that the suspect was legally drunk and apprended him without incident; the other five on board were not detained. An arraignment is pending as the investigation into the matter continues.
