SAUGATUCK, MI (WHTC) - Officials in Saugatuck are preparing for Sunday’s day-long visit by the passenger cruise ship Yorktown. It will be the first such vessel to dock in that Lakeshore community in nearly 83 years, and will benefit from long-needed dredging that allowed the vintage steamship Keewatin to leave Kalamazoo Lake in Douglas for its new home in Georgian Bay. The Grande Mariner cruise ship is slated to dock in Holland on Saturday.
