HOLLAND (WHTC) - The Michigan Department of Environmental Quality has declared Friday a Clean Air Action Day. That means free fixed route bus rides for Macatawa Area Express users. MAX offers free rides on its fixed routes on all Clean Air Action Days. The DEQ issues the advisory when air pollutants rise to levels that aren’t healthy for sensitive groups, such as small children, seniors and those with respiratory issues.
