ZEELAND, MI (WHTC) - Adjusting to something new is being done in Zeeland. Parents and students are being asked to stay clear of Zeeland’s Early Childhood Center and the New Groningen Elementary School, as a 2.5 million-dollar renovation project begins today involving both facilities. It is part of a state mandate starting this fall that kindergarten becomes all day sessions; Zeeland will take those kindergarteners out of the ECC and split them among its six elementary schools in the district as a result.
