HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - The 54th Ottawa County Fair ends its six-day run at the Fairgrounds off of Ottawa Beach Road today. Highlighting activities are garden tractor pullers in the Grandstand during the late morning hours, followed by a new attraction, the West Michigan Mud Runs, which will also be in the Grandstand this evening. Street performers, the Midway, free evening bingo and the Whispering Pines Mobile Zoo are also on tap today.
As the Ottawa County Fair winds down, two other annual festivities along the Lakeshore are in full swing. The Venetian Festival in Saugatuck continues its weekend run with an art fair, a dinghy poker run, a boat parade and fireworks today. The Coast Guard Festival in Grand Haven has a full slate of activities on its second day of a 10-day run.
