HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - The 54^th Ottawa County Fair may have begun yesterday with a limited schedule, but the annual event in Park Township has a full slate of attractions on this Day 2 of the six-day festivities. On Children’s Day, there will be Pedal Pulls, an Emergency Vehicle Display, a Wood Workshop, a Magic Show and a Pie Eating Contest for the youngsters; while the 200 thousand-dollar Wolverine Futurity harness race card at the Grandstand highlights the evening’s activities. There is no pari-mutuel wagering for spectators, but there are special promotional contests for those attending to participate in, with a guaranteed pot of 25 hundred dollars to be won. The Midway also opens today. The Ottawa County Fair runs through Saturday.
