HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - Four men were arrested early yesterday by federal agents, state police troopers, sheriff’s deputies and Holland Public Safety officers in what authorities are calling a crackdown on the Tulip City’s gang situation. Those authorities, accompanied by police canine units, fanned out from a tactical center at the Holland Civic Center to execute more than 15 federal and two state warrants at homes on Columbia and Burke avenues, as well as on 11th and 22nd streets. Arturo DeLeon, Ramon Gaytan Junior, Francisco Martinez Junior and Ramon Morales were all taken into federal custody; court documents claim that Gaytan is allegedly the enforcer for the Holland Latin Kings gang. The arrests culminated a year-long investigation, but the probe continues, and more arrests and indictments could be forthcoming.
