ZEELAND, MI (WHTC) - The Zeeland Board of Education meets today to go over candidates for the interim superintendent position. Three internal hopefuls submitted applications by Friday afternoon’s deadline, with a three-person committee reviewing those credentials over the weekend. The district is seeking an operational leader for the start of the new academic year on September 4th, with the search for a more permanent school chief to be conducted later this fall. David VanGinhoven is acting superintendent after Dave Barry resigned on July 1st.
