HUDSONVILLE, MI (WHTC) - Serving alcohol to minors ahead of a fatal car crash will apparently cost an 18-year-old Allendale man five Saturdays of community service. That, along with two years probation and nearly 16 hundred dollars in fines was the sentence handed down yesterday to Shane Harlan, who had pleaded guilty to charges stemming from a May 19th incident in which he allowed friends from Wyoming Park High to drink at a party in his apartment. Hours later, a crash on I-196 near the east Chicago Drive exit killed two persons.
