LANSING (WTVB) A new regulation seeks to rein in Bridge Card use in the state. Lieutenant Governor Brian Calley has signed a bill into law making it illegal for prisoners to receive Bridge Cards.  The measure also requires the termination of Bridge Card access to prisoners who had previously been issued one.  Calley says, quote, "preventing prisoners from receiving Bridge Cards is a common sense way to reduce fraud, save taxpayer dollars, and help ensure assistance is given to those who are truly in need."
