CHESHIRE TWP., MI (WHTC) - A 43-year-old Allegan man was killed just after midnight this morning when a vehicle struck his go-cart that had no headlights or taillights. Authorities pronounced Junior Lee Smith dead at the scene of the crash, which was at the intersection of 37^th Street and 111^th Avenue in Cheshire Township. The other driver, 28-year-old Jonathan Szczepanski of Allegan, wasn’t hurt. Alcohol is believed to have been a factor in the incident. No charges were immediately sought as the matter remains under investigation.
