KALAMAZOO, MI (WHTC) - The second debate between Republican Congressional candidates Fred Upton and Jack Hoogendyk was held last evening at the studios of Midwest Communications station WKZO in Kalamazoo. Upton, a 13-term incumbent, is being challenged for the second straight primary by Hoogendyk, a former state lawmaker. The winner on August 7^th faces Democrat Mike O’Brien of Douglas in the November 6^th general election. The 6th US House District in Michigan now includes all of Allegan County south of the Holland City Limits.
