LANSING, MI (WHTC) - GVSU Associate Psychology Professor Amy Matthews was named yesterday by Governor Snyder to a newly-created Michigan Autism Council. The 12-member panel will operate within the state health department to oversee the Autism Spectrum Disorders State Plan that provides for comprehensive, lifespan supports for patients and families. Dr. Matthews, from Grand Haven, will represent state-funded initiatives through 2015.
