SOUTH HAVEN, MI (WHTC) - The US Coast Guard sent out a helicopter and a boat to rescue four persons after a boat capsized in Lake Michigan off of South Haven yesterday afternoon. Another boater spotted the incident, radioed for assistance, and helped pull two of the unnamed victims out of the water. All four were taken to the Coast Guard station in St. Joseph, and there were no reports of injuries. A cause of the capsizing wasn’t determined.
