GRAND RAPIDS, MI (WHTC) - Attorneys for the city of Allegan filed a motion in US District Court yesterday, asking that a civil lawsuit by state legislator Dave Agema and others be dismissed. The Republican from Grandville contends that a last-minute cancellation of a January speaking appearance at Allegan High by former Muslim terrorist Kamal Saleem was for political reasons. The city contends that the move was made for safety reasons.
