UNDATED (WHTC) - Doug Fister allowed six runs and eight hits in over four innings, putting the Tigers in a hole that they couldn’t get out of, as visiting Minnesota beat the Bengals last night, 6-4. The series at Comerica Park in Detroit continues this evening. Coverage on 1450 WHTC begins at 6:40 PM.

Luis Valbuena’s three-run double in the seventh inning broke a 1-1 tie, and the Cubs went on to beat the Braves in Atlanta last night, 4-1. The series at Turner Field continues this evening.

Off last night, the White Sox host Texas to open up a three-game series at US Cellular Field in Chicago this evening.
