HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) - The second straight Air Quality Alert day and the 12^th of the season for the Lakeshore is today, as a string of seven straight days of temperatures at or above 90 is forecasted. The heat wave here mirrors that across much of the country, as over two thousand records have been tied or broken during the past week, and more than 32 hundred records were broken during the month of June. An Accuweather meteorologist predicts the center of the country will see higher-than-normal temperatures for the next several weeks.
