LANSING, MI (WHTC) - The Macatawa Area Coordinating Council is in line for nearly 15 thousand dollars coming from the Michigan Economic Vitality Incentive Program. The group of nine cities and township governmental units will use the funds to compile a complete inventory of service-sharing options, including tools for measuring progress, demonstrating and documenting savings, and establishing benchmarks for best practices. The grant is part of the final installment of this program that rewards local governments for consolidating services.
