Grand Valley Statesplit a basketball doubleheader in Marquette against Northern Michigan last night. Brittany Taylor scored 16 points as the Lakers won the women’s contest, 51-48. However, Matthew Craggs tallied 14 as the Wildcat men captured the nightcap, 62-57. GVSU travels to Houghton for another twin-bill tomorrow afternoon, this time against Michigan Tech.
In state major college basketball last night, Oakland won at Southern Utah, 72-63.
