OTSEGO, MI (WHTC) - The search is on for the driver of a dark truck or SUV that reportedly fled the scene of a hit-and-run accident that injured an unnamed 27-year-old pedestrian near Otsego last night. The apparently intoxicated victim was attempting to cross Road 13 south of M-89 near his home when he was struck, but he was able to phone for help, and was taken to Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo for treatment of non-life threatening leg and hip injuries. Any tips to the Allegan County Sheriff’s Department or Silent Observer are welcome.
